Bhubaneswar,News Today ,08th October 2020: The Crime Branch of Odisha Police began investigation into the minor gang-rape case. A team from the Crime Branch on Wednesday went to the OTV office and collected information. Besides, the crime branch has issued notices to three employees including PA of OTV MD.

The Crime Branch has also taken all the documents that the Commissionerate Police has investigated.

On September 21, the OTV Managing Director had appeared before the Odisha State Commission for Woman (OSCW) in connection with minor gang rape case.

Earlier, two senior journalists and an HR executive and HR head of the channel had also appeared before the police.

The minor girl had lodged a complaint of rape against four men including two security personnel and two media employees.

The victim who stays in Infocity area alleged that she was raped several times by the accused during the lockdown between April and May. The child protection commission and commission for women have also sought report from the Commissionerate Police in this connection.
