  1. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 18 highway projects worth ₹8,341 crore in Rajasthan on Thursday.

The apex bank has cited recent media reports on unethical collection practices and arbitrary interest rates that are charged by some of these applications.
  5. The government will invest around 60 billion USD in creating gas infrastructure in the country till 2024 and increasing gas’s share in the energy mix up to 15% by 2030.Currently, gas accounts for 6% in the country’s total energy mix.
  6. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is conducting a Special Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme for workers, with the Department of Panchayati Raj (DoPR). Festivals, National Film Archives of India, and Children’s Film Society, India with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) Ltd. by expanding the Memorandum of Articles of Association of NFDC, which will then carry out all the activities hitherto performed by them.
  8. The North Orissa University (NOU) in Baripada of Mayurbhanj district will now be known as Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University as the institution has been renamed after the erstwhile King of the princely state of Mayurbhanj, announced Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday.
  9. A statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is all set to be unveiled at the Shaurya Memorial intersection of Madhya Pradesh’s capital.The statue will be unveiled on December 25, on the occasion of Vajpayee’s birth anniversary.
