Puri: The holy communion of the Lords and devotees on Puri Badadanda on occasion of Sri Gundicha Yatra came to a grand conclusion as Nandighosa, the chariot of Lord Jagannath joined Taladhwaja and Darpadalana chariots at the Gundicha Temple.
The grand spectacle of the annual sojourn of the Holy Trinity was witnessed by lakhs of people from across the globe. All the rituals of the deities were conducted smoothly at the 12th century shrine today due to which pulling of chariots began much ahead of the scheduled time.Amid loud chants of Jai Jagannath, the pulling of Nandighosa, the chariot of Mahaprabhu Jagannath begins on Badadanda in Puri.Pulling of Darpadalana, the chariot of Devi Subhadra begins on Badadanda in Puri And finally the moment that all have been waiting for arrives. Pulling of Taladhwaja- the chariot of Lord Balabhadra begins .Puri Gajapati Dibyasingha Deb, the royal servitor of Lord Jagannath, performs the Chhera Panhara of the Trinity- Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannath & Devi Subhadra on their respective chariots.
