Bhubaneswar,News Today:Vigilance officials on Saturday raided the houses of Ashok Kumar Mishra, senior assistant of Director of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar on allegations of acquiring assets disproportionate to known sources of his income.
According to reports, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the officers of Vigilance Bhuaneswar Division at Mishra’s residential double storied building at Mancheswar, double storied building at Prasanti Vihar in Patia, quarter at Vani Vihar Campus, office room at DDCE and his native house at Durgapur village in Cuttack.
During search, one more double storied building of Mishra has been detected at Kalinga Nagar, Bhubaneswar and cash of Rs 3,55,000 has also been recovered from him, said a vigilance officer.
